L&T-MHI Power Boilers (LMB) was awarded the ‘Suraksha Puraskar’ (Bronze trophy) by National Safety Council of India (NSCI). The award was given in the construction category (non-buildings) for 3x660 MW Ghatampur power project in Uttar Pradesh that LMB is executing for NUPPL. The award ceremony for NSCI Safety Awards 2023 was held in Hyderabad on March 15, 2024.

L&T-MHI Power Boilers (LMB) won ‘Gold’ at the 10th FICCI Awards for Excellence in Safety Systems. LMB won the award in ‘construction sector’ category for THDCIL's 2x660 MW Khurja Super Thermal Power Project in Uttar Pradesh. Ms Arti Ahuja, Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment, handed over the award at a ceremony in New Delhi on November 2, 2023.

L&T Energy-Power (LTEP) won the ‘Golden Peacock Business Excellence Award - 2023’. The award, instituted by Institute of Directors (IOD), was presented at a ceremony held during IOD’s 2023 Dubai global convention on March 15. LTEP was declared the winner in Power category by the awards jury chaired by Hon’ble Justice M. N. Venkatachaliah, former Chief Justice of India.

L&T-MHI Power Boilers (LMB) won an award for best practices in occupational health and safety on the theme, ‘Working @ Height’ organised by Confederation of Indian Industries (CII). LMB was adjudged the winner in ‘large’ category. The company received the award at the 7^th edition of CII’s ‘Annual Conference on Occupational Health & Safety’ held on September 23, in Mumbai.

L&T-MHI Power Turbine Generators (LMTG) won the Excellence in Operations Award - 2022 at the 10^th Annual Conference & Awards organised by the publication, Manufacturing Today. LMTG bagged the laurel in the ‘Manufacturing (Large)’ category. Members from LMTG’s operations team received the award at the event held in Mumbai on September 22.

The Vindhyachal FGD project of L&T Energy-Power was honoured with ‘Prashansa Patra’ (certificate) at the NSCI Awards 2021. The award was given away by Director-General of National Safety Council of India Mr Lalit Gabhane at a ceremony held in Mumbai on June 4, 2022. The recognition is a testimony to L&T Energy-Power’s commitment to ‘Mission Zero Harm’.

L&T Energy-Power is executing FGD packages for NTPC’s Vindhyachal thermal power project at Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh.

L&T-MHI Power Boilers (LMB) bagged honours at the All-India Kaizen Competition organised by Baroda Productivity Council. LMB secured the first prize and the runners-up prize in ‘digital’ category, and the first prize and the runners-up prize in the ‘process’ category. Gujarat’s Industries Minister Mr Jagdish Vishwakarma gave away the prizes at the award ceremony held on May 12, 2022.

The Hazira manufacturing unit of L&T-MHI Power Boilers (LMB) won ‘platinum’ (first prize) in ‘Large Organisation – Smart Operations’ category at the first edition of Industry 4.0 Awards organised by FICCI. The award was presented by Ms Anupriya Patel, Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, at a function held in Delhi on May 5, 2022.

L&T Power (now L&T Energy-Power) received commendation for ‘Significant Achievement in HR Excellence’ at the 12th edition of CII National HR Excellence Award, 2021-22. The award was announced at the virtual CII HR Confluence held on March 24, 2022. The business unit’s HR team received this prestigious recognition in its maiden participation in an external assessment.

The 400 MW Bibiyana South Gas-based Combined Cycle Power Plant in Bangladesh, executed on full EPC basis by L&T Power (now L&T Energy-Power), has been conferred the Award of Merit by the prestigious US-based publication - Engineering News-Record (ENR) at a virtual event held on December 9, 2021. The award was announced as part of the 9th Global Best Projects (2021) competition in the Power/Industrial category. The evaluation criteria entailed safety performance, innovations, challenges, design and construction quality.

L&T Power (now L&T Energy-Power) has bagged the prestigious ‘CII Award for Customer Obsession 2020’ under the section ‘Recognised for Customer Centricity’. The power business competed for the award in the ‘Infrastructure - Large Business Organisation’ category. The award was presented by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) at an online conference on ‘Consumer Awareness & Protection in Digital Era - The New Normal’, held on December 15, 2020.

L&T-MHI Power Turbine Generators Pvt Ltd added one more feather in its cap as it bagged the Golden Peacock Award for Energy Efficiency - Power Equipment sector. The award was declared on October 16, 2020. The Golden Peacock Awards were instituted by the Institute of Directors, India, in 1991.

L&T Power (now L&T Energy-Power) has proved its mettle by bagging the Platinum (First) Prize at the prestigious ‘8th FICCI Quality Systems Excellence Awards for Industry - 2020’ under the Construction Sector (Large) category. The award was presented by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) at the conference on ‘Quality Excellence Systems for Atmanirbhar Bharat’, held in New Delhi through an online platform on October 15, 2020.

L&T Howden (LTH) won the prestigious ‘Top 5 GE Steam Power Vendors’ award under the sub-category - We Care. The award was announced during the annual ‘GE Supplier Partnership Meet 2020’ held online on July 29, 2020. The award is a first time ever customer recognition for LTH. It was the only FGD vendor among the ‘Top 5’ GE Steam Power vendors.

The 2x660 MW Shree Singaji Thermal Power Project, Stage-II, executed by L&T Power (now L&T Energy-Power) on EPC basis, won the award for ‘Excellence in Project Management’ from Project Management Institute (PMI) India. The project was evaluated on various international parameters & benchmarks for ‘large project’ category, and was declared runner-up in that category. The award was presented by General VP Malik (former chief of Army staff of the Indian Army) on September 20, 2019 at Project Management National Conference in Hyderabad. 

The case study presented by L&T Power’s (now L&T Energy-Power) team from Quality Management Capability Centre won ‘gold’ trophy at the 30th Annual Convention on Quality Concepts. The convention was organised by the Vadodara chapter of Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) on September 7, 2019 with the theme ‘Quality Concepts for Cultural Breakthrough’.   

The quality team from L&T-MHPS Turbine Generators Pvt Ltd (now L&T-MHI Power Turbine Generators Pvt Ltd) also bagged ‘gold’ at the 2nd Annual Convention of QCFI Surat chapter, held on August 31, 2019, with the same theme. 

L&T Power (now L&T Energy-Power) won the ‘Par Excellence’ award at the 32nd National Convention on Quality Concepts, organised by Quality Circle Forum of India at Gwalior on December 22-23, 2018.  Theme of the convention was ‘Igniting minds for innovation through quality concepts’. The winning case studies presented at the convention were: ‘Quality improvement in CW piping at 2x660 MW Shree Singaji Thermal Power Project, Stage-II (Madhya Pradesh)’ and ‘Quality improvement in concrete structure at (Bibyana-III) 400 MW gas-based combined cycle power plant project (Bangladesh)’. 

L&T-MHPS Turbine Generators Pvt Ltd (now L&T-MHI Power Turbine Generators Pvt Ltd) secured third position at IMTMA ACE Micromatic Productivity Championship Award 2018, which stood out as the first non-automobile company to get a slot in the top three positions since the inception of the award programme in 2006. The national level productivity championship winners were declared at the 12th edition of National Productivity Summit held in Chennai on August 24-25. 

L&T-Sargent & Lundy has been conferred the CII-BE Star Recognitions for Excellence in Customer Management-2017 as

‘Emerging Leader’ in services sector by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The award ceremony was held at the

25^th National Quality Summit in Bengaluru on November 25 & 26, 2017.

L&T Power's (now L&T Energy-Power) 2x660 MW Shree Singaji Thermal Power Project in Madhya Pradesh bagged the National Safety Awards from the Union Ministry of Labour & Employment on two counts.The project was declared winner for its excellent performance in industrial safety, based on ‘lowest average frequency rate’.  It was also adjudged runner-up for outstanding effort in achieving ‘accident-free year’. Both awards pertain to performance year 2015. The prestigious national level awards were presented by the Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Labour & Employment, Government of India, Mr Santosh Kumar Gangwar at a function in New Delhi on September 17, 2017. 

L&T Power’s (now L&T Energy-Power) Rajasthan Atomic Power Project (unit 7&8) site has won the National Safety Council of India’s ‘Sarvashreshtha Suraksha Puraskar (Gold trophy & certificate)’ for the year 2016. The prestigious national level award was presented by the Hon’ble Minister, Labour & Employment, Government of India, Mr Bandaru Dattatreya on April 20, 2017 in New Delhi.

L&T Power (now L&T Energy-Power) has won the prestigious ‘FICCI Quality Systems Excellence Awards for Industry 2017 - Platinum (First) Prize in Construction Sector’ in the Large Size Organisations category. The award was presented by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) at a conference on ‘Sustainable Industry Growth through Quality Systems’ on the theme ‘Quality Systems to Achieve Goal of Make in India’, held in New Delhi on January 20, 2017.

The coveted PMI India Award for best project 2016-17 in the CSR category was bagged by L&T Power (now L&T Energy-Power). The award, set up by the Project Management Institute, was presented at a function in Mumbai on November 17, 2016. It is in recognition of the CSR work being done by L&T Power at one of its project sites. The Construction Skills Training Centre, established in Saatmohini village of Khandwa district in Madhya Pradesh, was adjudged the best CSR project helping local youth gain access to construction skill training facilities which qualify them for employment.

L&T Power (now L&T Energy-Power) was conferred the prestigious ‘CII EXIM Bank Award for Business Excellence – 2016’ (Recognition for ‘Strong Commitment to Excel’) in the ‘Large Business Organisations’ category by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The award was presented at the 24th National Quality Summit (Theme: The Digital Transformation of Business – Implications for Quality), held in Bengaluru on November 23, 2016.

L&T-MHPS Turbine Generators Pvt Ltd (now L&T-MHI Power Turbine Generators Pvt Ltd) was awarded ‘Gold’ under ‘Large Business Category’ by IMEA. The award function was held on December 9, 2016, in Mumbai. India Manufacturing Excellence Awards (IMEA) was conceptualised by Frost & Sullivan ‘to recognise manufacturing capability and assess its global competitiveness’ and is a platform to identify ‘future ready’ factories in India.

L&T Power (now L&T Energy-Power) won the National Safety Award for its 2x660 MW Chhabra power project in Rajasthan. The runner-up trophy and certificate for the power project’s outstanding performance in industrial safety achieving ‘accident free year in 2014’ (performance year) was presented on September 16, 2016, in New Delhi. The award was presented by Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Labour & Employment, Government of India, Mr Bandaru Dattatreya.

L&T Power (now L&T Energy-Power) won the Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP) award in the ‘Excellence in Construction of Power Projects’ category. The award was presented at a ceremony organised by CBIP, a Government of India institution, on December 29, 2015 held in New Delhi. The award was presented by Ms Uma Bharati, Hon’ble Minister for Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Government of India and Dr Rampratap, Hon’ble Minister, Water Resources, Government of Rajasthan.

L&T Power (now L&T Energy-Power) bagged the Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Award-2013 (Commendation Certificate) in the Large Scale Manufacturing Industry - Engineering & Others category. The award was given by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India, at the World Standards Day-2015 celebration, held at New Delhi on October 28, 2015. The Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Award recognises and rewards organisations that are leaders in quality and strive for excellence while contributing to improved business practices.

L&T-MHPS Boilers Pvt Ltd (now L&T-MHI Power Boilers Pvt Ltd or LMB) was awarded the first prize in ‘Best Innovations in Technologies for Boiler System Development’ category at the 8th National Conference of SteamTech 2015 at Ahmedabad on February 27 and 28. The award is a recognition of LMB’s continuous efforts to innovate in boiler technologies and move closer to its vision of becoming the preferred provider of fossil fuel-fired supercritical boilers in India.

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of L&T-MHPS Boilers Pvt Ltd (now L&T-MHI Power Boilers Pvt Ltd or LMB) Mr Anil Mehta was conferred the prestigious ICAI Awards 2014 in the category ‘CA CFO Award - Infrastructure & Construction’ by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The award was presented at a function held in Mumbai on February 1, 2015. Mr Mehta was awarded for his contributions as CFO, Dhamra Port. A distinguished jury headed by Mr Pawan Munjal, Vice-Chairman, CEO & Managing Director, Hero Motocorp Ltd, and comprising some of India’s prominent business leaders, selected the winners.

L&T won the award for Excellence in Power Project Execution from the Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP), a Government of India institution, for its outstanding contribution to the development of the power sector in India. The award was presented on January 1, 2015, at New Delhi during the CBIP Day celebration. The award citation lauds L&T’s execution of Nabha Power’s 2x700 MW supercritical thermal power plant at Rajpura, Punjab, in record time. This project is India’s first full EPC job completed using indigenously manufactured supercritical boiler, turbine & generator.

L&T-Sargent & Lundy won the Regional Export Award from EEPC, India (Engineering Export Promotion Council) in the category of Star Performer - Medium Enterprise - Engineering Services for its outstanding export performance during 2011-12.

L&T-Sargent & Lundy Limited was presented the prestigious ‘Golden Peacock National Quality Award – 2014’ by Institute of Directors at the 24th World Congress on ‘Total Quality & Leadership’, at Trivandrum, Kerala on May 23, 2014.

The Awards Secretariat received over 204 responses from reputed organisations. This award reflects LTSL’s achievements and recognises its commitment to continue in its quest towards new benchmarks in Total Quality Management.

L&T won the NDTV-Grundfos Mission Energy Challenge 2014 award for its energy saving initiatives in Knowledge City campus in Vadodara. The award was presented at a function held on June 5, 2014 in New Delhi in the presence of Director General–CII Mr Chandrajit Banerjee, Chairman of Indian Green Building Council Dr Prem Jain, Director General of Bureau of Energy Efficiency Dr Ajay Mathur and others.

L&T-MHI Turbine Generators Pvt Ltd (now L&T-MHI Power Turbine Generators Pvt Ltd) was awarded gold medal in the Heavy Engineering category and also adjudged the overall runner-up at the National Award for Manufacturing Competitiveness (NAMC) 2013-14 ceremony held in Chennai on June 6, 2014.

L&T-MHPS Boilers  (now L&T–MHI Power Boilers or LMB) won the prestigious National Energy Conservation Award for the year 2013 presented by the Ministry of Power. The award recognises the contribution of LMB and the viable solutions it offers for energy conservation.

The ideation and implementation of an IT project under L&T Power (now L&T Energy-Power) earned recognition from the national body of software companies with L&T Power bagging the prestigious NASSCOM Innovation 3.0 Award in the category of ‘Best IT driven innovation in manufacturing vertical’ for its ‘IT-enabled Project Review & Monitoring System’.

The 2x600 MW Shri Singaji Thermal Power Plant being set up by L&T Power (now L&T Energy-Power) on an EPC basis got Five Star rating in the British Safety Council's Occupational Health and Safety Audit 2013 conducted on July 15-20, 2013 at Malwa site. With an overall score of 96.8 per cent and a cumulative score of 97.53 per cent on Safety Management Indicators for leadership and continuous improvement, the project also qualified for the ‘Sword of Honour’ for the year 2013.

L&T-MHI Boilers Pvt Ltd (now L&T-MHI Power Boilers Pvt Ltd), Hazira obtained Five Star rating in the British Safety Council's Occupational Health and Safety Audit 2013 conducted during July 22-26, 2013 at Hazira manufacturing complex (now known as A. M. Naik Heavy Engineering Complex) near Surat. With an overall score of 99.96 per cent, the boiler manufacturing facility also qualified for ‘Sword of Honour’ for the year 2013.

L&T-MHI Turbine Generators Pvt Ltd (now L&T-MHI Power Turbine Generators Pvt Ltd or LMTG) bagged the Green Manufacturing Excellence Award instituted by Frost & Sullivan. LMTG had worked relentlessly to prepare for appropriate response to the assessors from Frost and Sullivan during making of the preliminary report and final assessment carried out at LMTG in the early part of 2013.

The LEED India plaque was awarded to West Block-II of Knowledge City campus in Vadodara by the Indian Green Building Council. The evaluators made a note of high-quality construction material that has least ecological impact.

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) India certification provides independent, third-party verification that a building project meets the highest performance standards.

Rajpura project, Dhuvaran project and L&T-MHI Turbine Generators (now L&T-MHI Power Turbine Generators) factory got the Sword of Honour which is one of the most coveted awards in health and safety field worldwide. This award scheme of British Safety Council recognises the ‘best of the best’ in health and safety management.

The 2x384 MW Combined Cycle Vemagiri Phase-2 Power Project was awarded the second position in the ‘Best Project of the Year 2012’ category at Project Management National Conference India 2012, organised by Project Management Institute (PMI), India chapter at Chennai.

L&T Power (now L&T Energy-Power) won two prestigious awards at the Chief Learning Officers (CLO) Summit India held in Mumbai. The first was a gold award in the Induction Training Programme category given to it. Next in line was a silver award in the Apprenticeship Programme category given to L&T-MHI Turbine Generators (now L&T-MHI Power Turbine Generators). The awards were presented by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in association with Leap Vault.
